Philadelphians apparently don’t think much of TBS, either

The city that once infamously booed Santa Claus has another target: TBS. And while Philadelphians aren’t alone in their dislike of TBS’ broadcasters – Awful Announcing writes that the fact that people are singing the praises of [Fox's team of Joe] Buck and [Tim] McCarver speaks volumes – they were the ones with the opportunity to vocalize their feelings Wednesday. "Following the Phillies’ series-clinching win . . . TBS’ Ernie Johnson made his way to the podium to present the team’s brass with the trophy," Awful Announcing writes. "Ernie, being the true professional that he is, decided to announce the pleasure it was for his network to call the NLCS." Awful announcing adds, "THANK YOU, PHILADELPHIA! There is no better way to voice your displeasure for a network than they way you just demonstrated." The site also adds Johnson’s reaction "is the reason why he’s one of the best in the business."
