It's SPORTS. He can't influence the game. It's not like a political reporter who can actually influence an election. Sports writers could show up to the game in one team's colors and be a total homer...it doesn't matter. The biggest problem with sports journalism is sports journalist taking themselves waaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously. Who cares if a sports writer is biased? It’s SPORTS. He can’t influence the game. It’s not like a political reporter who can actually influence an election. Sports writers could show up to the game in one team’s colors and be a total homer…it doesn’t matter.
