Pittsburgh Penguins General Manager Ray Shero said he respects Sidney Crosby’s decision to turn down David Letterman’s invitation to appear on his show, Kevin Allen writes, adding, "Crosby won the Olympic gold medal Sunday, flew across the country Monday, played Tuesday and did interviews Wednesday after practice, including one each with TSN and NHL Network and two with ESPN. Then he faced playing four games in six days." Allen quotes Shero, "There is no one in the history of the game, (not even Wayne) Gretzky or Mario Lemieux, who has done more to promote the game than Sidney Crosby."
