NBA ratings: 2010-2011 season most viewed in league’s history on TNT

"Not even during the days of Magic, Bird and Jordan did Turner Sports average as many viewers for the NBA as during the 2010-11 season," Sports Media Watch writes, adding, "TNT averaged a 1.6 U.S. rating and 2.453 million viewers for NBA coverage during the 2010-11 regular season, up 45 percent in ratings and 42 percent in viewership from last year (1.1, 1.723M), and up 45 percent and 43 percent, respectively, from 2008-09 (1.1, 1.711M).
