CBS Sports president Sean McManus declined Tuesday to discuss whether his and other networks’ recently extended contracts with the NFL include provisions for the league to be paid in 2011 even if there is a work stoppage, Newsdaycom’s Neil Best writes. Best writes that McManus did acknowledge CBS’ extension addresses the "Red Zone Channel," which previously was a DirecTV exclusive but now is being marketed to other providers.
