Jay Mariotti suspended by AOL Fanhouse following weekend arrest

"Jay Mariotti's arrest over the weekend on a charge of felony domestic violence has resulted in a suspension from AOL for the oft-controversial columnist and commentator," USA Today writes, adding that Richard Deitsch at SI.com reports that an AOL spokesperson gave him this statement: 'We are continuing to gather all the facts. In the meantime, we have suspended Jay Mariotti and are not featuring any new work from him.' Besides his columns for AOL's Fanhouse.com, Mariotti also has been a regular on ESPN's Around the Horn." || Mariotti won't appear on ESPN's Around the Horn next week. Here.
