Former Lakers announcer Dedes officially joins Knicks broadcast team as radio play-by-play voice

“Former Laker announcer Spero Dedes was officially named the Knicks’ new radio play-by-play voice on Thursday, over a month after reports first surfaced that he would receive the job.

Dedes has been hired as the Knicks’ lead radio play-by-play voice, MSG announced Thursday. In addition, he will serve as the primary backup forMike Breen on MSG Network’s Knicks telecasts.

Dedes will make his debut if and when the NBA resumes play.”
