Former Boston Globe Red Sox writer Gordon Edes leaves Yahoo! for ESPNBoston

Former Boston Globe writer Gordon Edes officially is covering the Boston Red Sox again — this time with ESPNBoston, Amanda Bruno writes. Edes left the Globe in the summer of 2008 for a national Major League Baseball writer position for Yahoo! Sports, Bruno writes, adding that on Friday’s front page of ESPNBoston.com "there’s an article featuring Jason Bay written by the one and only Gordon Edes, who is the site’s ‘new Red Sox writer.”’ Bruno writes that Edes initially made his debut on the Boston Red Sox blog: "Back where I belong. Returning to the neighborhood to cover the Sox for ESPNBoston.com." || A question-answer piece with Edes. Here.
