Southeastern Conference football continues to be a ratings winner for CBS, Sports Media Watch writes. Saturday’s Tennessee/Alabama game drew a 3.7 overnight rating for the network, which was up 68 percent from a Mississippi/Alabama game a year ago. "This marks the fourth time this season that CBS has had its overnight ratings for college football increase by at least 60 percent," Sports Media Watch writes, adding that NBC drew a 2.5 overnight for Boston College/Notre Dame on Saturday, down seven percent from the network’s fifth Notre Dame telecast last year (Pittsburgh/Notre Dame). || Solid college football ratings for ABC on Saturday. Here
